expressions of glee

This evening Sebastian and I needed a break from being inside and the weather was absolutely gorgeous outside. We sat on the back porch, Sebastian was perfectly content bouncing on my knee. My parent's dog Cocoa loves to play fetch. As soon as anyone enters the backyard she is in their face with a deflated football in her mouth and a pitiful expression on her face. You could throw the ball a million times, but she never tires of running after the ball and bringing it back. So there we were sitting on the back porch and of course Cocoa was begging me to throw the ball. Apparently, Sebastian seemed to think Cocoa was very entertaining because for the first time in his life he started laughing. And oh what a laugh it was! He has a big belly laugh, something you might expect from a fat old man. I called my Dad and he came outside and listened to Sebastian laugh and his laughing was so contagious that my Dad and I were laughing so hard we were crying. I sat Sebastian in the chair and ran and grabbed my camera. I managed to shoot a great video of Sebastian laughing, but I later discovered that my camera doesn't capture sound. I'm disappointed that I don't have the whole experience on video, but I'm still delighted that Sebastian laughed today. Oh I love him!

[Update] Turns out my camera does have sound. Here's the video of Sea Bass laughing.
